A Woman’s Worth ~ Keynote @ Lebanon Valley College

A Woman’s Worth ~ Keynote @ Lebanon Valley College

What an honor it was to deliver this speech in what was the most beautiful conversation about fears, passion, self worth… For young women who are just entering college and those who are graduating and preparing to enter the workforce. The fears… Fear of failure… Fear that we aren’t good enough… Competition between women… The importance of sisterhood… And knowing our worth. I am so grateful they allowed me to share my story.

To Vanessa Martir, thank you for encouraging me to share THAT one story… It was the one story during the Q&A when asked about my mistakes that I knew I had to share… And it was the story that impacted them the most.

To Courtney… Thank you for all the lessons you have taught me about being a mother… I left that event seeing you in every single one of the young women I met yesterday. I am so proud to be your mother. I love you.

To Lebanon Valley College, Venus Ricks and Ariellis Vasquez, the entire staff and trustees who were present thank you for sharing such an important day. I can’t wait to return.
